| Bio: | Geeks have no life. That you can't be killed without having one is one of the pleasant side-effects - but then, if you've come far enough to read this bio, you'll know it already, and probably enjoy the same benefit. Name(s): Elleth, LE, or Istarnië in various online haunts; got a variety of nicknames in her real life (among them 'Shiny' and 'Kleene'). Her real name rhymes with 'Danke', 'Schranke' and 'Kranke' - among others. (For the Germans: DON'T START. The rhyming thing is neither funny nor unique.) Fandoms: Elleth can be (and is) enthusiastic about many things, but her OTF (One True Fandom) is Tolkien's Middle-earth, and will always be. Escapism, anyone? While she loves Lord of the Rings, she loves the Silmarillion even more. Her fangirling of Fëanor borders on an unhealthy obsession. While not a fan of Anime, she also recently came to enjoy Cowboy Bebop and the Death Note series Quick Biography: Born and raised in Germany, Elleth is still stuck in the middle of nowhere and thus spends too much time online, especially in the middle of the night. Due to educational reasons (aka going to University) she has moved to Hamburg to study Anglistics (that is, English language, literature and culture) and Classical Archaeology. To make up for her lack of real life (although that has improved vastly, up to the point where she occasionally socializes without being dragged out from behind Celebrimbor the laptop), Elleth muns more Tolkien RPG puppets than she should, neglects this livejournal, and makes icons. In addition to that she likes to read, write and sing, has been provided with basic drawing equipment and is not very good at either of the aforementioned things (except for the first). She is owned (and frequently, as the scars on her arms and hands prove, pwned) by a snobby cat named Laurelin. The newest addition to the family is Ella the kitten who moved in on October 6th, 2007 at the tender age of 14 weeks. Now a little older, Ella has shown a passion for ripping wallpapers off the walls and scattering her food virtually everywhere.Personality: Shy and introverted but terminally curious, Elleth is a walking contradiction. She often shies away from talking to people for fear of making an idiot of herself, although that does not happen too often (or so she likes to think). She prefers to listen and only to make comments when it seems worthwhile - which is why she may come across as aloof and/or having a short attention span, while only the latter is true at times.
